Jill Mayer

Corporate President

Jill came to Bead in 2007 as the Financial Controller where she was responsible for the financial planning and reporting of both Bead Chain and Bead Electronics divisions. In 2014, she assumed the role of Corporate President and focused her efforts toward strategic planning, executive leadership and capital allocation. In addition to Bead’s Board of Directors, she serves on the board of the New Haven Manufacturers Association, the University of New Haven's Center for Family Business as well as their Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Vermont and a Master of Science from Champlain College. She enjoys yoga, brunch and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.

Ron Andreoli

President

Ron Andreoli joined Bead Industries as Director of Manufacturing in 2000 and successfully focused and streamlined the organization. He assumed responsibility for electronics sales and was promoted to President in 2007. He currently oversees Bead Electronics' growth initiatives and offshore manufacturing partnerships while managing the day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Bead, Ron held various engineering and management positions at a microwave transmission hardware manufacturer, Radio Frequency Systems, in Wallingford, CT.

Ron holds degrees in electrical engineering and business management. He is an avid boater and is interested in historic preservation.

Kristen Sawyer

Corporate Controller

Kristen Sawyer joined Bead Industries as Corporate Controller in 2015. She currently directs the accounting, treasury, and control functions at both Bead Industries and McGuire Manufacturing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bead. Prior to joining Bead, Kristen worked as in Audit Manager at CohnReznick. She has more than 10 years experience in public accounting.

Kristen holds holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Accounting from UConn. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

VP of Sales & Marketing

Lou Guerci joined Bead in 2015 to lead electronic sales and marketing efforts.  He has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics and technology sector, working at Winchester Electronics, Amphenol and Teradyne.  Lou has held a various role in marketing, operations & engineering roles like Global Director of Strategic Marketing, Business Unit Manager and Global Account Manager

Lou holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.   He enjoys supporting his children with their sports & activities, trying the latest craft beer or boutique wine with his wife and escaping to New Hampshire for a long weekend.

Regional Sales Manager

Tom Noack joined Bead in May 2016 to grow sales and develop new business across the electronics marketplace. He has more than 25 years of experience in the interconnect and electronics industries, Tom has been in leadership positions within sales and business development at companies such as Autosplice, Advanced Interconnections and ERNI Electronics.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from College of the Holy Cross and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University. He enjoys running and swimming, being poolside with his family and cheering on the Virginia Tech Hokies, his kids' alma mater.

Jim Balazsi

Senior Engineer

As senior engineer, Jim Balazsi provides technical support to the sales department and manages the toolroom and production departments. Jim utilizes state-of-the-art software to design, analyze and fabricate customized interconnect pins and associated tooling. He holds several patents including US patent no. 8,087,281 B2 for Bead's True Grip Pin . Prior to joining Bead in 1987, Jim was responsible for the production of disposable lighters at Bic Corporation in Milford, CT where he also designed and maintained high-speed assembly equipment.

Jim holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Haven, State of Connecticut Tool & Model Maker certification and is a certified Lean Expert. He enjoys boating and fishing in Long Island Sound.

Sylvia Pessin

Business Systems Manager

Sylvia Pessin joined the company in 2013, bringing over 10 years of marketing knowledge and account management to the Bead team. Her previous role as Customer Relationship Manager was to streamline internal processes surrounding the customer experience. Currently, Sylvia manages the IT and ERP database functions at Bead to ensure system productivity and efficiency. She provides internal training, support and development of system reports to measure business processes.

Sylvia and her husband love to travel and enjoy craft beer and walking with their kids and dog along the Connecticut shoreline.

Bob Halkowicz

National Sales Manager

Bob Halkowicz currently serves as the National Sales Manager for the Bead Chain® division of Bead Industries. Bob's responsibilities include key account support, customer service and new business development within the U.S. Bob has significant product, customer and industry knowledge having joined Bead in 1970 and held various manufacturing, purchasing and sales positions within the organization.

Bob is a loyal NY Giants fan. He served for 3 years in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam.

Jerry Weglinski

Manufacturing Engineer

Jerry joined Bead in 2010, bringing with him 25 years of experience in machine design, automation, process development and process control. He currently moves Bead forward in the areas of quality improvement and new process development as well as updating and maintaining current production equipment.

Jerry is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He enjoys time with his family, golf, street rods and riding motorcycles.

Alana Montano

Accounting & HR Coordinator

Alana joined Bead in 2013, bringing with her several years of experience in accounting and family business. She is responsible for receivable and payable preparations, expenses and duties associated with employee benefits. She holds a bachelor's degree from Albertus Magnus in Business Management.

Alana actively volunteers for several non-profits including the Long Island Bulldog Rescue and United Cerebral Palsy. She resides in Milford with her own rescue bulldogs, Max and Ruby.
